The number one thing that stands between our existing customers and our future customers is the word "Belief". Most folks, who do not have our service, just can't believe we can deliver on our advertised speeds. So, we decided to put our money where our mouth is.
If we are able to make a connection to our network from the address on the post card you received, the challenge is on.
So here's the Challenge:
At the address the post card was mailed to...If your existing Internet service can run faster Internet bandwidth speed tests than SABER Broadband, we will pay your next months Internet bill. Even if we have to make a check out to one of our competitors.
No games and no excuses.
Your next months Internet bill is on us.
We will give you $50.00 dollars off your SABER Broadband installation, if installed at the same time we arrive to conduct "The Challenge", OR we will give you $25.00 off your installation for anytime in the future you choose to switch to SABER Broadband. There is no expiration date for the $25.00 Discount.
Rule #1
The speed tests must be conducted using 3-different and publicly available speed test sites for your existing service and for the SABER Broadband service:
1. speed.ui.com (Ubiquiti Hosted Speed Test Servers)
2. nperf.com (NPerf Hosted Speed Test Servers)
3. speedtest.net (Ookla Hosted Speed Test Servers)
A service (your existing service or our service) must win at least 2 out of 3 of the tests to be called a "winner".
Rule #2
The speed tests must be conducted while connecting directly to your existing service and then directly connecting to our service with the same device. This makes the test environment perfectly equal. We would hate for a teenager in your basement to be streaming a movie on your existing service, thus causing your speed test results to appear slower while our service (without your teenager streaming) seemed faster.
Rule #3
For each of the speed test sites, the same geographic location must be selected for each test conducted.
Rule #4
The same computer, whether laptop or desktop, must be used to conduct all three tests on your existing service and on our service. This will eliminate the possibility of a faster computer being used for one such test while a slower computer was being used for the other test.
The "Rules" are intended to provide an equal playing field for both services being compared while attempting to eliminate unintentional "anomalies" or obscure environmental preferences.
To date, SABER Broadband has not lost a Challenge, but it is certainly not an impossibility. We believe we offer the fastest services in your area, but we could be wrong. That is certainly a possibility.
SABER Broadband agrees to pay an amount equal to your previous months bill (copy of bill to be provided to SABER Broadband by the customer accepting the Challenge) for Internet services only, not telephone services, absent any data overages a customer may have incurred due to going over their data limits with their existing provider.
SABER Broadband is an Internet Service Provider and this challenge is meant to challenge your existing Internet services with a legitimate "apples to apples" comparison.
